A Hands-On Workshop for Budding Plant Parents
we’ve all brought home a cute plant and hoped for the best. But at Brew & Bloom, we believe plant care doesn’t have to be intimidating. That’s why we created Plant Care 101, a relaxed and friendly workshop designed to help you build confidence, grow your skills, and keep your leafy friends thriving.
Hosted in the heart of our plant-filled café, this bi-weekly event is perfect for total beginners or anyone looking to reconnect with their green thumb. It’s less about perfection, and more about cultivating joy — one leaf at a time.
What You’ll Learn
Our in-house plant enthusiasts will guide you through the basics of houseplant care, using real-life examples and easy-to-follow tips. In each session, we cover:
- How to pick the right plant for your space & lifestyle
- Watering myths and how to avoid over/underwatering
- Soil, light, and potting tips for healthy roots
- Common signs of stress & how to revive sad plants
- How to re-pot like a pro (yes, we get our hands dirty!)
Each session also includes a hands-on repotting demo where you’ll get to work with your own little plant buddy — which you get to take home!
Why It’s More Than Just a Class
Sure, you’ll leave with new knowledge and a happy plant — but you’ll also gain something deeper: a moment to slow down, reconnect with nature, and share stories with fellow plant lovers. We’ve seen strangers bond over monstera mishaps and succulents gone rogue — it’s part of what makes the Brew & Bloom community so special.
And of course, our coffee bar is open throughout the workshop. Enjoy a matcha latte, herbal tea, or one of our seasonal plant-themed drinks (looking at you, Minty Monstera Mocha) as you learn and grow.
